THE LODGE OF ST. GEORGE NO. 1152

Phnom Thom Primary School, Cambodia

The Lodge of St. George No. 1152 had sponsored the construction of the Phnom Thom Primary School in Cambodia in conjunction with the “Room To Read” Foundation, which it has supported for many years.

On Friday 6th December 2019, the Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Bruce Donald Blanckley, together with Lodge Mentor, W. Bro. Richard Allan Vargo, and their wives, visited Cambodia to officially open the school. No sooner had the school been opened than both of them were whisked away to Ipoh to attend the Annual Communication.

Beyond Social Services, Singapore Tuesday, 11th December 2019

Just two days after the Annual Communication, the Lodge held its annual White Table Night and charity fundraiser at the Singapore Cricket Club, this time in support of local Singapore charity Beyond Social Services. A total of 77 people attended the gala dinner, which resulted in a record charity collection of S$ 8,888.
