It was indeed a solemn and memorable ceremony that included Masonic music and a choir assembled to sing wonderful hymns to enrich the ceremony of dedication of the new Masonic Centre “Dewan Table”. In conjunction with the ceremony Table Lodge held its Regular (installation) Meeting afterwards.

At 2 pm sharp the Table Lodge meeting was opened in third degree and later reduced to first degree. W Bro Richard S.C. Pang conducted the usual lodge business as per agenda in the Summons of the 102nd regular meeting of the lodge.

At around 3.30 pm the Dedicating Officer, Right Worshipful Brother Dato’ Jeyaraj Ratnaswamy entered with his dedicating team, was accordingly handed the gavel, the emblem of power of the lodge, by W Bro Richard S.C. Pang. The DGM then proceeded to address the Brethren present after which he called on W Bro Jacob OSY Pang for the delivery of an oration. The Dedicating Officer then dedicated the Masonic Centre according to due and the ancient form.

The choir sang several hymns including “Except the Lord build the house, their labor is but lost that build it….”. Towards the end of the ceremony they sang the Anthem: “I have surely built a house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in forever”. The Dedicating Officer retired from the Temple on conclusion of the ceremony at 4.30pm.

The Lodge was then called off leaving all happy and with beautiful memories of this historical occasion.
