INTRODUCTION TO THE REGIONAL WORSHIPFUL MASTERS’ MEETING (SINGAPORE) 2018

Dear Brethren,

It is my honour and privilege to welcome you to The Lodge of St. George as we host this unique, first-of-its kind meeting in Singapore, where the degree work will be undertaken by a team comprising the Worshipful Masters of all the Craft Lodges in Singapore and Johor Bahru or their representatives.

This initiative was conceived by our Right Worshipful District Grand Master, who mentioned it at the Installation Banquet of Lodge Singapore in February. Similar meetings have already been organized in Kuala Lumpur and Peninsular Malaysia. The objective is to assist all the Craft Lodges in a particular region to work more closely together thereby strengthening the bonds of fellowship that bind our fraternity and our District.

I am proud as the Worshipful Master of The Lodge of St. George to be able to spearhead this initiative and to offer the March Regular Meeting of The Lodge of St. George as the first such meeting. It promises to be a unique occasion for our Lodge and for our Candidate on his Raising to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason.

I must offer, on behalf of myself and The Lodge of St. George, my sincere thanks and appreciation for the tremendous support we have received from the Worshipful Masters of all the Craft Lodges in Singapore and Johore Bahru. Without their help and dedication to make this initiative a success, this meeting simply would not have been possible. Their enthusiasm is an example to all of what can be achieved when we all work together.
